Soccer, Soccer, Soccer (the season is almost Over!)

Saturday, we spent the day in Winnemucca, Nv! Of course, it was for SOCCER!!!

Katy's team played in the U12 Tournament, playing against 9 other AYSO teams from Winnemucca, Elko and Fallon. The day started out a little grey, a bit breezy, and kinda cold. The wind picked up here and there, never comeletely dying off. Thankfully, the rain held off until the very last game at 4! Then, it got CoLd and a little wet!

They played 3 games to determine who would go to 'finals'. The Hot Chilly Peppers (Katy's team) won their first 2 games and lost their 3rd. But, they played well enough to make it to the playoffs for 3/4th place! They played hard, and held their own, placing 4th!

It is still amazing to see the skills and improvements from last year (U10), through the summer tournaments and through their regular season of AYSO Soccer. We are very proud of Katy and her teammates. They played some awesome games!
