Well, the AYSO regular fall season is FINALLY over! No more practices from 5:30-7pm Monday through Friday (Yes-we had practices 5 nights a week--4 kids playing on 4 different teams, 3 of those kids/teams practicing 2 nights a week! All of this interspersed with Basketball practice 3 nights a week, Basketball games 2 nights a week, scouts, and dance. Oh, and don't forget Homework!!)
But, it's over! The kids/teams tuffed out the FREEZING, WINDY, Threats of SNOW Saturday to play their last games. Poor Mom, she had to work, stuck all day in the climate controlled, 72 degrees, and NO wind, hospital with tiny little babies!
Now, there is just soccer practice for Katy (& Coach Denny) 3 nights a week, and only for an hour for the next 2 weeks. Then we get to go to Las Vegas, Baby!! Denny and Coach Kevin have gathered 18 U12 girls to take to the Las Vegas Mayor's Cup Soccer Tournament on the 25-26th of October!
