OUR SUMMER!

June flew by from all of the soccer practices, 3 nights a week. July flew by from travelling to Utah-Murray, Orem, and Park City every other weekend!

Denny and Kevin M. gathered up the girls (10-11 yo), started drilling into them the positions, and trying to condition them. They were ALL typical 10-11 yo Girls-they already KNEW everything!

Our first Tournament was a real Eye Opener! It was HOT (100+ degrees!) the teams we were playing (Utah Teams) play together year round. Our team was new, the girls have played soccer for a few years, but only on AYSO recreational teams (meaning the play is NOT competitive)! This first tourney, the girls learned ALL about Contact! Shoulders, elbows, cutting another player off!
By our Last Tournament, the girls had really improved! The score at the end of the game was not such a HUGE gap and their SKILLS were awesome! And we ALL had a GREAT TIME!!

We hope to continue competing through out the fall and winter! Although, that means more travelling!!
